By Max Reinhart, mreinhart@detroitnews.comAn Oakland County man has pleaded guilty after being accused of using artificial intelligence to create pornographic images of a social media influencer he was stalking online. Joshua Stilman, 37, of Commerce Township pleaded guilty Tuesday to cyberstalking, federal attorneys said in a press release. Stilman, using the screenname FriendBlender, also made threats against her safety, implying he would sexually assault her unless she responded to the explicit messages he sent her online, court documents show. In one message, Stilman allegedly sent his victim a link to a Google Drive collection of AI-generated nude images of her. Stilman initially also was charged with interstate extortion, which will be dismissed in exchange for his agreement to plead guilty on the cyberstalking charge, according to court documents.
