The coastbound carriageway of the busy A-road was partially blocked near junction 1 of the M2, for Strood and the A289, shortly before 10am this morning (January 29). ‌Officers from Kent Police were called to the scene and assisted in the recovery of the vehicles. ‌A police spokesperson said at the time: “Kent Police was called at 9.43am on Thursday, January 29 to reports of a collision involving two cars on the A2 coastbound near Strood.
