In the last two years’ surveys, we asked about whether people were using AI tools to learn to code: in 2024, 37% of those learning to code used AI tools, and in 2025 this grew to 44%. With more developers learning to code from AI, is this trend part of a larger consolidation or is it merely another temporary disruption?
