Randall Dean (Randy Dean) Schowengerdt, age 66, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. Randy was born the son of Melvin O. and Teresa Dean (Perl) Schowengerdt on Sept. 14, 1959, in Lexington, Missouri. Randy attended Central Missouri State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast communications. He loved statistics, which made him very good at announcing Chillicothe sports.
