JK Cement Becomes India’s 5th Largest Grey Cement PlayerBuxar (Bihar)- JK Cement Ltd. has commissioned a new grey cement plant in Buxar, taking its total production capacity to 31.26 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and placing the company among the top five grey cement manufacturers in India. With the facility becoming operational, JK Cement will now be able to deliver cement across the state within 24 hours. He noted that while JK Cement entered Bihar last year through supplies from its Prayagraj plant, local manufacturing would allow closer engagement with customers in the state. JK Cement stated that the facility will support infrastructure, housing and commercial projects in Bihar by ensuring faster access to cement. Founded in 1975, JK Cement is a major manufacturer of grey and white cement in India, with operations spanning multiple states and international markets.
