Jaipur, 29 January (Udaipur Kiran): Acting on the directions of the Anti-Corruption Bureau headquarters, the ACB Sriganganagar unit on Thursday arrested three officials of Anupgarh Municipality while accepting a bribe of ₹48,000. The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar, Assistant Accounts Officer; Suresh Kumar, Storekeeper; and Bharat Soni, Computer Operator (Tender), all posted at Anupgarh Municipality. During the operation, Police Inspector Rajendra Kumar and the bureau staff caught all three accused red-handed while accepting ₹48,000 as bribe from the complainant. Under the supervision of Inspector General of Police Rajesh Singh, further interrogation and legal action against the accused is underway. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigation will be conducted.
