Mumbai, 29 January (Udaipur Kiran): Reliance Foundation has achieved a major milestone through its skilling initiatives by providing employment to over 1.8 lakh youth and skill training to more than 3 lakh individuals across India. During the event, 40 youth from across the country who built successful careers through Reliance Foundation’s skilling programmes were felicitated. Head of Skilling and Employment Programmes at Reliance Foundation, Nupur Behl, said that the country progresses only when youth are equipped with the right skills and access to employment opportunities. Reliance Foundation’s skilling programmes are currently active in 28 states, with a special focus on youth who are outside the formal education, employment or training system. Through the Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy, youth also have access to easy-to-use digital courses and certification programmes.
