Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has warned that schools will be shut down if they continue to observe the illegal Monday sit-at-home order. Soludo explained that the next phase of enforcement will focus on private and public schools that refuse to open on Mondays. He expressed anger over the continued closure of markets and schools despite repeated warnings to residents and business owners. We are going to open the schools, and we’re going to take the same measures. The Anambra State Government insists that education and commerce must not be sacrificed under any circumstance.
