Local NRA member condemns Pretti killingThe tragic murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis by federal officers has opened my eyes to a massive divide in our country. Reviewing the incident on different sources and reading comments, I was appalled by people condoning this shooting. In years past, corruption found in some local law enforcement agencies, called for federal oversight to ensure safety and civil liberties of ALL Americans. Now 2026, it seems the federal police have become Hitler’s Brown Shirts reminiscent of 1930’s Germany. In particular, we appreciate the coordinated effort by the EPD in enforcing speed limits of cars traveling past the Courthouse.
