Keeley Hawes, the voice actress for Lara Croft who appeared in titles including Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary, has been spotted on the set of Amazon’s Tomb Raider series, prompting speculation she may appear in the show as Lara’s mother. Amazon hasn’t announced anything abut Hawes’ casting, but British newspaper The Sun took a snapshot of the actress on the set of the Tomb Raider show, depicting her alongside two mysterious figures wearing black disguises and masks. Fans have been quick to assume that Hawes is playing Lady Amelia Croft, who Lara was actually searching for in Tomb Raider Underworld. The Tomb Raider series will star Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, who recently revealed that she had been preparing for the role by playing the games and reading the comics. Tomb Raider is celebrating its 30th anniversary late this year, with the original game having launched in October 1996 for the Sega Saturn and on PlayStation and PC the following month.
