ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s petroleum product prices are anticipated to undergo adjustments starting February 2026, based on information from reliable sources. Sources indicated that petrol prices might be reduced by up to 36 paisa per litre beginning February 1, 2026. Conversely, kerosene oil is expected to rise by Rs3.69 per litre, and light diesel oil could see an increase of up to Rs6.95 per litre. Following approval from the prime minister, the Petroleum Division will announce the updated rates, which will remain effective until February 15. The Petroleum Division emphasized that fluctuations in petrol prices, supply, and demand factors were carefully analyzed before maintaining the existing fuel prices.
