Only the ornate facade of the Italinate style building on Parnell Place - built in 1835 - had remained after most of it was demolished in the noughties.
The building had been part of the Maldron Hotel on the South Mall, but had been largely unused since the hotel opened in 2019.
Now it has 20 employes - with space for another 25 hires - and represents Dalata Hotel Groups big commitment to Cork and Ireland.
Dermot Crowley, CEO, Dalata, said: “The opening of our Cork Shared Services Centre marks a proud milestone in the Dalata journey.
"The SSC team brings expertise, agility and an incredible team spirit to everything they do – helping us deliver on our growth ambitions across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
