The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has unveiled its provisional timetable for the 2026 Anambra State Local Government primary elections. Screening of chairmanship and councillorship aspirants will follow from February 7 to 11 across the state’s 21 local government areas and 326 wards. The chairmanship primary election is set for February 15 in Awka, with any appeals arising from the primaries to be resolved the following day, February 16. APGA fixed the cost of forms at N6 million for chairmanship aspirants and N600,000 for councillorship aspirants. The party urged all intending aspirants to strictly comply with the stipulated guidelines and electoral regulations.
