With a very recognisable cast list and a grounded, funny story, here’s all the information we have so far on the latest HBO Original comedy series:What’s it about? Rooster follows an author trying to navigate the complicated relationship he has with his daughter. The currently confirmed cast list includes Steve Carell (The Office), Charly Clive (The Lazarus Project), Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson), Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), John C. McGinley (Scrubs) and Lauren Tsai (Legion). Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses will both be co-showrunners and are both listed as writers for the ten episode series for Warner Bros Television.
