The case heard at Inverness Sheriff Court. Inverness Sheriff Court heard that on March 23, 2025, the victim burst through Stewart’s neighbour’s door in Lossiemouth, screaming at them to call 999. Fiscal depute Victoria Silver told Sheriff Gary Aitken that the victim then hid under a bed, before the accused then entered the home. The victim’s mother then arrived at the address and heard shouting, but Stewart told her that the victim had hit him with a plate. Sheriff Aitken sentenced Stewart to 21 months in prison, backdated to March 25, 2025, and placed a non-harrasment order on him for three years.
