Yodo1 Launches IPVerse Data Platform to Guide Gaming IP Deals

China-based mobile publisher Yodo1 has rolled out IPVerse, a new data-and-artificial intelligence (AI)-driven platform aimed at helping game developers and intellectual property (IP) holders make more informed in-game licensing decisions.
IPVerse aggregates data from more than 80K in-game events, covering around 20K brands and IPs, and over 15K game titles across mobile, PC, and console.
It also includes specialized datasets focused on the Chinese market, which Yodo1 says are essential for understanding the behaviour of regional players.
Yodo1 estimates that in-game collaborations have risen by 280% since 2020, but notes that many partnerships have underperformed due to weak IP fit.
The company warns that poorly chosen tie-ins can negatively affect player growth and long-term retention rather than improve engagement.
