The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded 1 646 earthquakes between 19 and 28 January, with magnitudes ranging from 1.1 to 5.9. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has activated its Quick Response Team and is monitoring affected communities. DG ECHO partners are on the ground and continue to monitor the situation as seismic activity persists.
