WESTFIELD — Principal Jesse McMillan said during a visit last week to Westfield Middle School, motivational speaker Terrence Lee Talley’s message of hope and resilience was well received. McMillan said the school has a social-emotional curriculum that Talley’s message reinforced. “You could hear a pin drop in the auditorium,” McMillan said. McMilan said there were students Talley’s message had an impact on that he wouldn’t necessarily have expected.
