A balanced scoring effort, capped by some critical late free throws, allowed Oregon State to secure a comeback win on the road. Josiah Lake II scored 13 points to lead four players in double-figures for the Beavers in a 72-69 win over Loyola Marymount Wednesday night at Gersten Pavilion. Dez White scored 11 and Matija Samar and Isaiah Sy each scored 10 for Oregon State (11-12, 4-6 WCC), which snapped its two-game losing skid. Sy made a pair of free throws with 7.8 seconds to go to ensure OSU secured the season sweep. Myron Amey Jr. scored 24 points off the bench for LMU (11-12, 2-8), including five three-pointers.
