Midland Dow senior Melanie Kolnitys reached a career milestone, scoring her 1,000th career point before an expected premature end to her high school basketball season. Delaney DeBoer added 16 points, including five 3-pointers, for Dow, with Allie Stockton scoring 11 points with 10 steals, nine rebounds and seven assists. Phillips added seven rebounds, four steals and four assists. Nicole Zelinko followed with 12 points, seven assists and six steals. Sanford Meridian 53, Farwell 14Meridian’s Kam Fillmore scored 25 points to lead all scorers, followed by Lily LaFave with 11 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
