Baripada: Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district will remain closed to visitors for three days from February 4 as part of security measures in view of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit. As part of the restrictions imposed for the President’s visit, the entry gates of Similipal National Park will be closed for visitors during the three days, according to the office of Similipal Field Director Prakash Chand Gogineni. ADVERTISEMENTThe decision to put curbs has been taken as part of security and administrative arrangements for the President’s visit. On February 3, the President is slated to visit Jajpur and offer prayers at the temple of Goddess Biraja. The President’s visit is expected to lead to enhanced security measures and extensive administrative preparations across the districts included in her itinerary.
