Bhubaneswar: The morning sun struggled to pierce through a thick blanket of fog, which shrouded coastal Odisha on Thursday morning.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog engulfed Chandbali, Paradip, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada, reducing visibility to 50-200 metres.
ADVERTISEMENTMeanwhile, dense fog warning continues for districts of Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda and Bhadrak till January 30 morning and Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Kendrapada during the subsequent 24 hours.
The city had recorded below normal temperatures of 14.6°C on January 27, 14.5°C on January 26 and 13.4°C on January 27.
The only other place which recorded temperature below 10°C was Semiliguda in Koraput at 9.6°C.
