Today Samsung has announced an enhanced Samsung Care+ protection plan for 17 European markets. There's also seamless care at home as well as abroad - the previous 60-day trip limit has been removed. Devices with a battery capacity falling below 80% after the end of the standard manufacturer warranty are eligible for a free battery replacement for those who have Care+. Samsung also says that "should an insured customer experience any mechanical and electrical failure after the standard warranty period, Samsung Care+ covers the repair for the duration of the policy term". Note, however, that only a maximum of two successful claims for theft or loss are allowed per year, and you need to activate Samsung Knox Guard within 30 days of starting your Care+ policy.
