The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has launched a public consultation to gather first-hand accounts of flooding in areas identified as having the highest flood risk. The feedback will help shape the Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMP) for 2028 to 2034, which aim to reduce the impacts of flooding and improve resilience. "The National Flood Risk Assessment published last year shows why it’s so important to plan ahead and work together to reduce the impacts of flooding. "By sharing concerns, experience and knowledge, people can help inform our understanding of flood risk in their area and support the development of flood risk management planning." The final Flood Risk Management Plans are set to be published in December 2027.
