In an application to Ceredigion County Council, W&H Thomas Ltd of Mydroilyn, through agent Thomas Login Architecture, sought permission to site a pergola the rear beer garden of Y Seler, Market Street, Aberaeron.
No objections were raised by Aberaeron Town Council to the scheme at Y Seler, once known as the Monachty.
An officer report recommending approval said: “The application at hand seeks full planning permission for the proposed erection of a pergola within the commercial beer garden serving Y Seler.
“The proposed pergola is to be sited between the existing raised seating area and outdoor bar building and is said to have openable louvres for privacy and weather protection.
The pergola is said to measure some five metres by some 6.7 metres.
