Union Walk, Hereford, is closed from January 26, 2026, between the exit of the car park and the exit of the bus station. The closure will allow for improvements to the carriageway and drainage works and has been put in place by Herefordshire Council, which has cited the risk to public safety. The alternative route is via Union Walk onto Kyrle Street, onto Bath Street, onto Commercial Road. The order will remain in force for up to 18 months, although works are expected to be completed within two weeks.
