Barrow drug dealer jailed for heroin and cocaine supply offences

Peter Barry, of Rodney Street, was sentenced at Preston Crown Court after pleading guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply drugs and two counts of possession of Class A drugs heroin and cocaine.
The court heard how on October 2, 2025, officers were carrying out an operation to target drugs offending in Barrow.
Officers detained him for a drug search and seized numerous wraps of brown powder and white powder which were later identified as heroin and cocaine.
The 57-year-old was also sentenced for failing to appear at court after he failed to attend a court hearing in November.
