Chiang Mai, January 29: Two Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) pilots were killed Thursday morning when their light attack aircraft crashed during a training mission in northern Thailand. The AT-6TH Wolverine, assigned to Wing 41, went down at approximately 10:20 a.m. in a forested area of the Chom Thong district, roughly 60 kilometers from Chiang Mai. RTAF spokesperson Air Marshal Chakrit Thammavichai confirmed the pilots were conducting a combat search and rescue (CSAR) exercise when the accident occurred.
