Lee Rushton, 49, from Alder Street, Atherton, has been charged with Section 47 assault, common assault, and assault of an emergency worker after an incident which took place at Society Cocktail Bar, Atherton, on Saturday night. Rushton has been bailed and is due to appear at Wigan Magistrates Court on February 25, 2026. The incident being investigated by police took place at Society Cocktail Bar, Atherton, on Saturday night.
