The airline says it is set to operate twice-weekly services on Thursdays and Sundays between May and October, following "strong passenger demand" last year.
Chris Ion, head of aviation development at Newcastle Airport, said: "Berlin is one of our most popular city-break destinations and following strong bookings last year, it’s fantastic that Eurowings will be operating the route again this summer.
"We look forward to seeing passengers jet off to Berlin this summer and welcome even more visitors from the city to our region."
"Berlin is a key destination within our European network, and we’re pleased to continue offering travellers easy access to one of Europe’s most exciting capitals while further strengthening our partnership with Newcastle Airport."
Travellers can book flights via the Eurowings website at www.eurowings.com or through local travel agents.
