LINK, the UK’s cash access and ATM network, has today announced local people and businesses in Whitehaven will benefit from a new banking hub. Banking hubs are a shared banking space, similar to a traditional bank branch, but available to everyone. Whitehaven is the fourth banking hub to be recommended in Cumbria, with hubs in Cockermouth, Maryport and Ulverston already open. The banking hub will now be delivered by Cash Access UK. "There are over 210 hubs open across the country and when it opens, the Whitehaven banking hub will be vital for the local community and high street.”
