On Monday, January 27, future tenants toured the in-progress Ty Darran later living apartments in Risca, Caerphilly, ahead of the scheme’s upcoming completion. A spokesperson for Caerphilly Council said: "We were delighted to take residents to visit their apartments at the new Ty Darran later living scheme in Risca yesterday. The facility is located on Cromwell Road and has been built on the former Ty Darran care home site. Residents will relocate to Ty Darran from existing sheltered housing schemes in Risca and Crosskeys. Ty Darran also incorporates high energy-efficiency standards, targeting a standard exceeding SAP A energy rating.
