ROCHESTER – The Shoe Beverage Bar, Rochester’s newest and smallest neighborhood watering hole, is taking a big step on Saturday. The Shoe, located in a 120-year-old house/former shoe repair shop at 908 North Broadway Ave., is opening its doors to the public on Saturday to start serving up drinks in a cozy 800-square-foot lounge. Thee Only Shoe Repair shop operated there for 61 years until it closed in 2022. The Shoe’s beverage menu ranges from alcohol-free drinks like kombucha, tea and mocktails to beer on tap including a local brew by Rochester’s Little Thistle.
