Lama Zangpo's new role will include responsibility for the Tibetan Buddhist group in Inverness. A Buddhist centre overlooking Loch Ness is set to receive much-needed support from a spiritual teacher who is visiting the area for the first time. Lama Zangpo, a well-travelled Western Buddhist lama who has spent more than 14 years studying in retreats, will share some his experiences with the public at an event in Inverness this weekend. “I hope to become a regular visiting teacher to Inverness and the north to give much needed support to the development of the centre KSD Highlands runs near Drumnadrochit, overlooking Loch Ness,” he said. It also runs some activities from its small centre in the hills above Loch Ness which it plans to develop to enable further activities.
