Inverness has been a twin city with Augsburg in Germany for the past 70 years. Celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of town twinning arrangements between Inverness and Augsburg in Germany will include civic exchange visits later this year. Economic opportunities relating to green hydrogen and renewable energy will also be discussed during the commemorations and there will also be sports-related exchange visits particularly aimed at young people.
