ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Cold and snowy winter weather continues with temperatures up to the teens once more today, with accumulating lake effect snow showers expected through Saturday morning and dangerously cold temperatures tomorrow.
We have a Yellow Alert up tomorrow for said cold.
Lake Ontario effect snow will enter the region later this morning and cause accumulating snowfall mainly near the lakeshore through Saturday morning.
As the wind shifts it will not be constant snowfall for everybody and eventually will focus on Wayne County.
Friday morning wind chills will be 15 to 25 degrees below zero and could cause frostbite to exposed skin in 30-60 minutes.
