ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Students at the Golisano Institute connected with over 50 local employers on Wednesday at a career fair at the campus on Sawgrass Drive. It’s the institute’s largest career fair in its history, connecting students with employers in finance, banking, healthcare, human services, construction, real estate, higher education, and more. “You get to hand out your resume, you get to handshake, and there’s definitely a way bigger excitement you get from doing that versus trying to do a resume, trying to do LinkedIn,” said Viktoria Love, a Golisano Institute student. “Many people make decisions based on how they feel and our students are really good at building confidence by having these conversations. just, it’s how the world works,” said Ian Mortimer, founding president of the Golisano Institute.
