NY weather: Cold weather advisory issued for part of New York until Friday midday – wind chills as low as -25

At 10:38 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released an updated cold weather advisory valid from 7 p.m. until Friday 11 a.m. for Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Washington, Schoharie, Schenectady, Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia, Ulster, Dutchess and Warren counties.
The weather service adds, "Very cold wind chills as low as 28 degrees below expected."
