Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu visited the mother of the late Defence Minister, Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, in the Eastern Region on Thursday, January 29. During the visit, Minister Iddrisu comforted the grieving mother, embracing her and offering words of reassurance. “God will see you through; God will give you the strength,” he said, underscoring his support for the bereaved family. The mother, visibly moved, expressed her deep gratitude to all who have supported her since the passing of her son. Dr. Omane Boamah, who served as Ghana’s Minister for Defence, died on August 6, 2025, in a military helicopter crash while on official duty.
