(Photo Courtesy of WPXI/WPXI)Noah Haswell, Beaver County Radio News(Pittsburgh, PA) A suspect is now in custody after a man spent hours walking up the frozen Allegheny River. According to Pittsburgh Police, officers were called to the 7100 block of Highland Drive for reports of a person trespassing at the former VA site at 1 p.m. yesterday. When officers arrived, the man reportedly ran away. They caught up to him on Allegheny River Boulevard. The suspect is expected to be charged.
