The Climate and Nature Friendly Communities Network, run by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, supports 248 groups across the country with free resources, mentoring, and national recognition. Juliette Camburn, senior officer for community initiatives at Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: "The Climate and Nature Friendly Communities Network is made up of hundreds of amazing groups and people who work tirelessly to make a positive difference to their community. To raise awareness and attract new groups, Keep Scotland Beautiful is hosting a free online open session on February 24 from 7pm to 8pm. The Beautiful Scotland and It’s Your Neighbourhood schemes are affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) UK-wide Britain in Bloom campaign.
