Dundonald Primary and EYC handed glowing report card after inspection

The report from the inspection in November 2025 was positive, with both primary school and EYC receiving a ‘very good’ rating across all areas examined.
The head teacher and depute head teacher were also praised for their support of staff to provide consistent, high-quality learning and teaching.
Inspectors also noted that EYC staff provided responsive care that promoted children’s wellbeing, confidence and emotional security.
The EYC inspection report highlighted that children were happy, engaged and making very good progress in their learning, and as a team, the staff have high standards and strive to do the best for the children.
Fiona Paterson, head teacher, said: “Here at Dundonald, we are extremely dedicated to providing high quality learning that allows our children and young people to thrive.
