Arc System Works has announced River City Saga: Journey to the West (official English title to be announced) for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC (Steam). It is currently playable at Taipei Game Show 2026, which will run from January 29 to February 1 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan. Following River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, River City Saga: Journey to the West is a new title themed after the Chinese myth Journey to the West. The cheerful and easily carried-away Zhu Bajie and the earnest monk Sha Wujing also join as disciples, and the Sanzang party continues its journey west once again.
