As The Armitt in Ambleside prepares for its reopening next month, the museum has shared a first look at what will be its headline exhibition in 2026.
'An A-Z of Beatrix Potter' will pull back the curtain on the beloved author, exploring familiar themes and topics from her life but from a 'fresh and little seen before range of perspectives'.
A spokesperson from The Armitt said: "Drawing together objects rarely displayed from our collection, as well as objects from across the country, the exhibition will have something for children and adults alike with interactive elements blending seamlessly with history and art in a truly magical show.
"We can't wait to welcome you to this one of a kind exhibition across 2026."
'An A-Z of Beatrix Potter' is set to open to the public on February 18 with more information available at www.armitt.com.
