The fire at Firth View Walk in Workington was reported to North West Fire Control at 4.37pm yesterday, with a person believed to be still inside the property. Fire crews from Workington, Whitehaven, Aspatria, Egremont and Keswick with mobilised immediately. On-call recruits from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service personnel will be out in the area this week completing home fire safety visits for local residents and reassuring the community.
