New indoor market aims to offer 'the very best of East Lothian’s food and drink'

The team at Cockenzie House and Gardens has “always wanted to arrange” the event, but has been waiting for the ideal time and place.
Available stalls are “filling up fast”, promising offerings of local food and drink including fresh bread, cakes, sweets and vegetables.
Marietta Di Ciacca of Cockenzie House and Gardens was “very excited” to see the plans start to come to fruition and the idea for the market already “creating quite a buzz”.
She said: “A food market in Cockenzie & Port Seton is something the team [at Cockenzie House & Gardens] have always wanted to arrange.
“Our food fair is a great opportunity to learn about the freshest food from our own county.”The team is working with East Lothian Food and Drink for the monthly event.
