One person taken to hospital after crash on the A1 this morning

Emergency services attended the scene, including two ambulances, with one patient to transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
There is no information yet on how many vehicles were involved in the crash or the nature of any injuries.
Significant delays were reported, with drivers being warned to expect delays and plan ahead for their journeys.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call to attend a road traffic collision on the A1 near Tranent.
"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and one patient was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.”A spokesperson for Police Scotland said officers attended at the scene and no further police action taken.
