Community Support Centres are open again today to support those affected by flooding – for food, hot water and phone charging. Another status yellow weather alert is in place for counties in the south and east of the country. This latest weather alert took effect at midnight – Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford are under the rain alert until midnight tonight. It comes as only last night Enniscorthy Quays opened back up for traffic following the catastrophic flooding there. Met Éireann has warned that heavy rain, combined with saturated grounds and high river levels, could lead to more flooding.
