The diplomatic engagement extended into Sunday with a separate meeting featuring Russia’s envoy for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dimitrev, who delivered a personal message of gratitude from President Putin for convening the three-party dialogue to advance diplomatic efforts regarding Ukraine. Russia insisted that, to reach a peace agreement, Kiev must withdraw its troops from the eastern regions. Peskov further revealed that further trilateral contacts on the Ukrainian conflict are planned for the near future.
