Ilhan Omar Says Threats, Attacks Against Her Wouldn't Have Happened 'If Donald Trump Wasn't In Office'

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar said President Donald Trump's rhetorical jabs against her contributed to the attack she faced this week during a town hall.
The attack in question took place on Tuesday, when a man sprayed her with an "unknown liquid" from a syringe.
He can be seen rushing Omar as she called for the abolition of ICE and the impeachment of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also slammed Trump after the attack, as well as Vice President JD Vance.
Trump has repeatedly targeted Omar throughout the years, most recently after claims of widespread fraud related to the Somali community in Minnesota, of which she is part.
